Welcome to Mudjimba Sands!

House Rules and Terms of Stay

These terms apply to all guests booking and staying at Mudjimba Sands, 32 Cupania Street, Mudjimba QLD 4564, in addition to the general website terms and conditions above.

Booking and guests

The number of guests staying must match the number confirmed at the time of booking. Any additional, unregistered guests may be charged an extra fee. No unapproved visitors are permitted unless arranged with us in advance. The lead guest on the booking must be 18 years or older and will be responsible for the conduct of all guests and visitors during the stay.

Check in and check out

Check in is from 3pm and check out is by 10am. These times allow us to prepare the property for the next guests, so we ask that you stick to them. Early check in or late check out may be available on request, subject to availability.

Access

A code for the lockbox is sent the day prior to arrival. The key inside opens both the front door and the garage. Please take care not to share this code with anyone outside your booking.

Parking

Two allocated parking spots are provided in the driveway. Additional vehicles must be parked on the street.

Pets

Pets are allowed only with prior approval. Please confirm with us before bringing a pet.

House rules

  • Quiet hours are 9pm to 9am, with music turned off during this time
  • No food or drinks in the bedrooms
  • No smoking indoors, smoking is permitted outside with responsible disposal
  • Please rinse off before heading inside after the beach
  • Please switch off lights and air conditioning when you leave the property
  • Please don't move furniture between rooms
  • Rubbish and recycling should go in the bins provided in the kitchen, with collection on Thursdays

Cancellations and bond

For bookings made through Airbnb, Booking.com or another third party platform, that platform's own cancellation and payment terms apply.

For bookings made direct with us, cancellations made 7 days or more before check in will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of check in are non-refundable.

Guests are responsible for the cost of any damage, breakage or excessive mess caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear.

Conduct

Any disturbances, or breaches of the house rules set out above, may result in the booking being cancelled without refund and guests being asked to leave the property immediately.

Liability

While we take care to maintain the property to a high standard, guests use the house, its furnishings, outdoor areas and any equipment such as bikes or BBQ facilities at their own risk. We are not liable for any injury, loss or damage to personal property arising from your stay, except where this cannot be excluded by law.

Emergencies

In an emergency, call 000. Contact details for the property and nearest medical facilities are provided in the digital welcome book sent prior to arrival.

By completing a booking, guests agree to abide by these terms for the duration of their stay.

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the Mudjimba Sands website, located at www.mudjimbasands.com.au. Mudjimba Sands is also the name under which this property is listed on Airbnb.

Unless otherwise stated, Mudjimba Sands and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on this website.

All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this website for your own personal use subject to the restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

  • Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from this website
